With the new wedding season underway, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my favourite wedding dresses and wedding dress photos. Over the last twelve months I've photographed some amazing weddings at locations such as Arley Hall and Manchester Town Hall, met fantastic bride and grooms very much in love and seen some amazing dresses.

I also worked closely with Elizabeth Bethune, a couture wedding dress designer who produces petit pieces of wedding fantasy.

Wedding dresses and vails sparkle and trap the light making photographs of the day come alive. While their trains swoosh out making almost sculpted shapes and patterns.

Paying attention to detail in the dress is also important. Material, straps and cut all blend together to create an unforgettable representation of the bride on her special day.
