Some of the greatest wedding photos involve children. Rarely camera shy or distracted by a photographer their energy and enthusiasm always leap out from the picture. Below are some of my favourite children photographys from last year's wedding season. 

A client recently expressed interest in my grading skills (that is the manipulation of colours and tones to create a look) with regards to their proposed wedding pictures. Having seen some of my TV commercial work which I had graded,  they wanted to see how their wedding photos would look if they were treated with a hand coloured or art deco feel.

Following on from part 3 in our look at Catherine and Ben's winter wedding, we move onto the bride and groom's formal shots at Manchester Town Hall. I am very lucky to have been involved in lots of filming over the years at Manchester Town Hall and I am no stranger to the glorious architecture that the town hall displays. A bride usually picks her wedding venue as it offers a fairy tale setting.

I photographed a beautiful Christmas wedding at two of Manchester city centres most stunning locations, the Town Hall and the Midland Hotel. In part 1 I'd like to open with the shots of the beautiful bride, Catherine getting ready for her big day. I hope you enjoy the wedding photos.

Arley Hall was the setting for a wedding fayre a few weeks ago. Elizabeth from Elizabeth Bethune Couture Design had some of here fantastic couture wedding dress designs on display. Elizabeth and myself have slowly been building a working relationship which recently resulted in a series of bridal portraits for PR and fashion purposes which will appear in Conde Nast Brides.

I am happy to say the picture editing of the bridal fashion shoot I did at Manchester Town Hall is almost done. Elizabeth (Elizabeth Bethune Couture Design) and myself are in the final stages of tweaking the pictures so stay tuned for more. Andrew

In my last blog I mentioned that I was off to shoot a bridal fashion shoot at Manchester Town Hall for Elizabeth Bethune Couture. This is just a sneak preview as I work on my photos and get them ready for a variety of publicity. A big thank you to Dilan and Lisa who did the hair and make-up. An amazing team who were invaluable. I am looking forward to shooting two weddings in Manchester Town Hall this year. Manchester Town Hall is a fantastic neo-gothic building which really adds something special to a wedding day and wedding photos. Manchester Town Hall is a location that holds a special meaning for me. I got married in the Lord Mayor's Parlour and I have overseen numerous Film and TV productions at the Town Hall during my time running the Manchester Film Office.
