Parsonage Gardens, Manchester: Engagement Shoot Location
A very quick blog entry this week. I thought that I'd post a picture taken while out scouting for a nearby location for an engagement shoot. Parsonage Gardens and the rectory therein is a fantastic spot. You can find more about the gardens here.

All the best

Children at Weddings: Some of favourite shots.
Some of the greatest wedding photos involve children. Rarely camera shy or distracted by a photographer their energy and enthusiasm always leap out from the picture. Below are some of my favourite children photographys from last year's wedding season.

Nottingham Wedding very sneaky peek
It was a cold day in Nottingham earlier this month when I shot the wedding of Rich and Ruth. Its very early days in the editing process at the moment, but I though I'd share one of the beautiful wedding photos shot in Highfields Park just as the sun was starting to set. Snow was still on the ground but love was in the air. The wedding picture really captures the happy couple bathed in golden light.

2011 Season: My Favourite Wedding Dress Shots
With the new wedding season underway, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my favourite wedding dresses and wedding dress photos.
Wedding Photos: A vintage hand coloured look
A client recently expressed interest in my grading skills (that is the manipulation of colours and tones to create a look) with regards to their proposed wedding pictures. Having seen some of my TV commercial work which I had graded, they wanted to see how their wedding photos would look if they were treated with a hand coloured or art deco feel.
Manchester Town Hall & Midland Hotel Wedding Part 4: Bride Formals
Following on from part 3 in our look at Catherine and Ben's winter wedding, we move onto the bride and groom's formal shots at Manchester Town Hall. I am very lucky to have been involved in lots of filming over the years at Manchester Town Hall and I am no stranger to the glorious architecture that the town hall displays. A bride usually picks her wedding venue as it offers a fairy tale setting.
Christmas Wedding at Manchester Town Hall and The Midland Hotel Part 2: That Dress
It has been a busy 10 days, but as promised in Part 1, it's time to catch up with Catherine as she prepares for her big day at Manchester Town Hall. Catherine has a fantastic wedding dress. An elegant 1930's design totally at home in an art deco city such as Paris or Rome. It is one of the most stylish dresses I have seen and Catherine looks terrific. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.

Christmas Wedding at Manchester Town Hall and The Midland Hotel Part 1
I photographed a beautiful Christmas wedding at two of Manchester city centres most stunning locations, the Town Hall and the Midland Hotel. In part 1 I'd like to open with the shots of the beautiful bride, Catherine getting ready for her big day. I hope you enjoy the wedding photos.

Boho Wedding Article: Love at First Focus
I thought I would republish a recent article that went on the Boho Wedding Blog website.
Wedding Photography with Photoamor: Love At First Focus
Writing about images is an odd pursuit. Why write words when you have the picture? Must you explain the reason behind the rhyme?
Manchester Loves Fashion:- At The Triangle
It has been very busy lately and it has kept me away from my blog. I return however with some photos done for withDilan hairdressing. Dilan Malalgoda who runs the withDilan salon in The Triangle does a lot of amazing and cutting edge fashion, catwalk and bridal hair styling. I was hired to take some back stage snaps of his work at Manchester Loves Fashion, while Andy Bennett of Viva La Media Productions (of which I am a partner) filmed the event.
